About the Role
As an – Delivery Management, you will make an impact by leading complex, large-scale delivery programs that drive business outcomes for clients in the Industrial Manufacturing and Automotive sectors. You will be a valued member of the delivery leadership team and work collaboratively with executive stakeholders, client partners, engineering teams, product organizations, and operations leaders to ensure successful program execution while maintaining the highest standards of quality, governance, and operational excellence.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in delivery management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and organizational leadership to drive predictable outcomes across multiple concurrent initiatives within a hybrid delivery environment.
In This Role, You Will
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent programs, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, quality, budget, and business objectives.
- Implement and govern delivery management frameworks, methodologies, and governance processes that improve predictability, reduce risk, and drive successful outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, operations, and client-facing stakeholders to align delivery milestones and priorities.
- Monitor program performance using key metrics and operational insights, translating findings into continuous improvement initiatives and measurable business value.
- Manage program financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, resource planning, and margin optimization.
- Drive effective governance, communication, and collaboration practices that support distributed and hybrid delivery teams.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies, and issues while ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
- Partner with client stakeholders to understand evolving business needs, manage expectations, and deliver solutions that address critical manufacturing and automotive industry challenges.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, regulatory requirements, and governance controls throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Lead quality assurance initiatives, acceptance reviews, and delivery checkpoints to maintain high standards of reliability and performance.
- Mentor and develop delivery managers and project teams through coaching, best-practice sharing, and leadership development.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by documenting lessons learned, developing reusable delivery assets, and strengthening organizational knowledge.
Work Model

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in Delivery Management, Program Management, Project Management, or related leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex technology or business transformation programs.
- Strong experience leading multiple concurrent initiatives across geographically distributed teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in program governance, delivery frameworks, stakeholder management, and executive reporting.
- Experience managing project financials, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning activities.
- Strong understanding of risk management, issue resolution, compliance, and quality assurance processes.
- Experience working with hybrid delivery models and large cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across business and technology organizations.
These Will Help You Stand Out
- Experience supporting Industrial Manufacturing or Automotive industry clients.
- Expertise in enterprise transformation, digital transformation, or large-scale technology modernization initiatives.
- Experience managing globally distributed teams and complex multi-vendor environments.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum, or related industry certifications.
- Experience establishing delivery governance offices, PMOs, or operating models.
- Knowledge of operational excellence, process improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong client-facing consulting and executive stakeholder management experience.
- Experience driving sustainability, manufacturing efficiency, and operational optimization initiatives.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is anticipated to be between $145,000 and $155,000, depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, and other job-related factors.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
