Job Summary

This hybrid Infra Architect role focuses on designing and optimizing secure scalable and highly available solutions on the AWS cloud platform for a multinational organization. The architect will use services such as Amazon API Gateway CloudFront CloudWatch CloudFormation AWS CLI Batch and Cloud Map to build resilient infrastructure that supports critical business applications. Responsibilities

• Design and architect end to end AWS infrastructure solutions that use Amazon API Gateway CloudFront CloudWatch CloudFormation AWS CLI Batch and Cloud Map to deliver secure and scalable digital services for global business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure patterns and reusable templates that standardize environments across multiple applications using AWS CloudFormation and related automation tools to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Configure and optimize Amazon API Gateway to provide reliable and secure interfaces for internal and external consumers while ensuring consistent performance observability and cost effectiveness.
• Implement efficient content delivery strategies with AWS CloudFront by defining caching rules origin configurations and security controls that enhance user experience and reduce latency.
• Set up and refine AWS CloudWatch monitoring metrics dashboards and alerts to ensure proactive detection of issues clear visibility into system health and faster resolution of incidents.
• Build automated workflows using AWS Batch and AWS CLI that streamline operational tasks support data processing jobs and reduce manual effort for engineering and operations teams.
• Design robust service discovery and naming strategies using AWS Cloud Map that support microservice based architectures simplify routing and improve application reliability.
• Collaborate with application security and operations teams in a hybrid work model to translate functional requirements into technical architectures that align with company standards and regulatory expectations.
• Apply strong security awareness by incorporating identity and access management network segmentation logging and encryption capabilities into all AWS infrastructure designs to protect organizational assets.
• Review existing cloud deployments and perform detailed assessments to identify risks performance bottlenecks and cost optimization opportunities then provide clear remediation plans and guidance.
• Document solution architectures infrastructure diagrams operational runbooks and configuration standards in a structured and accessible way to support knowledge sharing and long term maintainability.
• Support incident and problem management activities by providing architectural insight conducting root cause analysis and proposing long term corrective improvements to prevent recurring outages.
• Coordinate infrastructure changes and releases in a controlled manner during day shifts to minimize service disruption and ensure smooth integration with existing platforms in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bring eight to nine years of professional experience in infrastructure or cloud architecture roles with a solid track record of delivering complex AWS solutions for enterprise scale environments.
• Demonstrate advanced hands on expertise with Amazon API Gateway AWS CloudWatch AWS CloudFront AWS CloudFormation AWS Cloud Map AWS CLI AWS Batch and core AWS cloud services including design implementation and optimization activities.
• Show capability to design secure architectures using industry security practices and preferably experience with security services domain knowledge such as access control models threat mitigation and compliance considerations.
• Exhibit strong skills in scripting and automation using AWS CLI and related tools to build repeatable infrastructure deployment processes that reduce manual errors and improve reliability.
• Display solid analytical and troubleshooting abilities that enable effective diagnosis of performance reliability and configuration issues in distributed AWS environments.
• Communicate clearly and constructively with technical and nontechnical partners in a hybrid working model ensuring shared understanding of architectural decisions and their business impact.
• Maintain awareness of emerging AWS services infrastructure trends and security practices and apply relevant advances to continuously improve the resilience and efficiency of company systems.

Certifications Required

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional preferred
