About the role
As a Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies and modern web frameworks. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and work collaboratively with client stakeholders, architects, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional delivery teams to build innovative, secure, and high-performing solutions.

In this role, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using C#, .NET, Azure, SQL Server, and React.
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to analyze requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Build and support cloud-native applications leveraging Azure services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and Azure Front Door.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while improving application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and contribute to modern DevOps practices using GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.

What you need to have to be considered
Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and React development.
Experience building and supporting cloud-based applications on Microsoft Azure.
Proficiency with Azure services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Application Insights, and Azure Front Door.
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (on-premises and Azure), including query optimization and performance troubleshooting.
Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes in CI/CD and application deployment environments.
Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot for coding, debugging, testing, and documentation.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience creating and maintaining automated unit tests.
These will help you stand out
Experience integrating AI capabilities using Azure OpenAI or similar AI services.
Experience building AI-powered workflows, chat interfaces, or lightweight AI agents.
Knowledge of prompt engineering and effective utilization of generative AI tools.
Experience monitoring and optimizing Azure infrastructure performance and application observability.
Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions, lead solution discussions, and present technical recommendations to stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 to $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
