Job Summary
This role as a payments specialist in the technology and services division focuses on supporting email marketing operations through precise data handling and basic payment related reporting using MS Excel in a work from office rotational shift model. The specialist will contribute to accurate campaign billing insights and operational reports that help business teams optimize communication and value delivery to customers while ensuring data quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Support daily payment related data preparation activities for email marketing campaigns by maintaining accurate spreadsheets in MS Excel and ensuring that data inputs are properly validated for business use.
- Execute routine data updates in MS Excel for marketing and payments teams by organizing customer and transaction information into structured formats that allow reliable reporting and analysis.
- Perform basic data quality checks on email marketing and payment datasets using MS Excel functions so that incorrect values and formatting issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations team members to understand their data needs and translate those requirements into clear and well organized Excel based templates for ongoing use.
- Generate scheduled operational reports in MS Excel that summarize email marketing activity and payment related indicators so that stakeholders can take informed decisions about campaign actions.
- Apply standard formulas and pivot based analysis in MS Excel to highlight campaign performance trends and simple payment related metrics that support business monitoring.
- Maintain clear documentation for recurring Excel processes and file structures so that tasks can be executed consistently during rotational shifts and handovers remain smooth.
- Respond to email based queries from internal partners regarding data corrections or report clarification by using English language communication that is precise and respectful.
- Support testing steps for email marketing technical changes by preparing relevant datasets in MS Excel and recording observed results clearly for review.
- Coordinate closely with office based colleagues during rotational shifts to ensure that all assigned data tasks and reports are completed within agreed timelines.
- Adhere to company policies on data privacy and information security by handling customer and payment related information in Excel with appropriate access and storage practices.
- Contribute ideas to improve efficiency of Excel workflows and reporting formats so that the payments specialist function can deliver faster and more reliable insights to business teams.
- Participate in team discussions and training sessions to build stronger understanding of email marketing technology concepts and basic payment processes while continuously enhancing Excel proficiency.
Qualifications
- Possess foundational proficiency in MS Excel including ability to use common formulas sorting filtering pivot tables and basic charting to support structured reporting work.
- Demonstrate clear communication skills in English including reading writing and speaking so that requirements and findings can be shared accurately with diverse stakeholders.
- Bring exposure to email marketing technology concepts such as campaign configuration audience lists and performance indicators that support effective collaboration with technical teams.
- Show a strong orientation to detail and accuracy in data handling activities by carefully checking spreadsheet entries and ensuring consistent formats for smooth downstream use.
