The resource will provide Level 3 support across archiving, retention, indexing, mailbox integration, storage and overall platform health, working with Messaging, Infrastructure and Compliance teams where required.

In this role, you will:
- Administer and support the Veritas Enterprise Vault infrastructure and services.
- Monitor Enterprise Vault platform health, archives, indexes, tasks and storage.
- Troubleshoot archive ingestion, retrieval, indexing, search and retention issues.
- Support Enterprise Vault mailbox archiving integration with Microsoft Exchange.
- Manage Enterprise Vault policies, retention schedules and archive configurations.
- Investigate failed archiving jobs, Enterprise Vault tasks and Vault Store issues.
- Perform platform upgrades, patching and maintenance activities.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Enterprise Vault servers, services and storage connectivity.
- Support legal hold, eDiscovery and compliance-related requirements.
- Analyse Enterprise Vault logs and service failures for complex production issues.
- Coordinate with Exchange, SQL Server, Storage, Security and other teams for cross-platform incidents.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs and operational runbooks.
- Act as the L3 escalation point for Enterprise Vault issues raised by Messaging and Operations teams

- Strong hands-on experience with Veritas Enterprise Vault administration.
- Enterprise Vault architecture and operational support.
- Vault Stores and Archives.
- Indexing and search troubleshooting.
- Enterprise Vault tasks and services.
- Retention policies and archive configuration.
- Microsoft Exchange-integrated archiving.
- Windows Server administration.
- Understanding of SQL Server concepts related to Enterprise Vault.
- Enterprise Vault log analysis and troubleshooting.
- Experience resolving complex production incidents.

- Enterprise Vault upgrades and migrations.
- Exchange Online / Hybrid Messaging environments.
- eDiscovery and compliance support.
- Backup, recovery and archive restoration.
- PowerShell scripting and operational automation.
- Experience supporting Enterprise Vault in large enterprise environments.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
