About the role

As a Senior Consultant - Technology Program Management, you will make an impact by leading a collection of work, including epics and projects, to achieve desired business outcomes and ensure technical solutions are delivered in alignment with strategic goals. You will be a valued member of the Technology Program Management team and work collaboratively with project managers, product and platform owners, Technology Business Partners, and clients.

In this role, you will

Own and manage the scope, schedule, cost, and quality of programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Monitor the performance of programs, projects, and service delivery, and communicate status, risks, and accomplishments to key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
Partner with customers, business, product and platform owners, and Technology Business Partners to identify technology services that meet strategic needs
Provide strategy, planning, and management guidance to project teams across various functional areas and initiatives
Lead and mentor teams while ensuring compliance with applicable governance policies and processes, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement

Work model

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, or Querétaro, Mexico. What you must have to be considered

Proven experience managing the scope, schedule, cost, and quality of complex technology programs and projects
Strong command of Agile delivery methodology, with hands-on use of JIRA for project management and issue tracking
Experience managing and optimizing applications within Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies
Experience performing financial analysis to track and report on project value realization

Skilled negotiator who can lead negotiations and improve negotiation practices
Ability to apply innovative, creative approaches to complex situations and guide others through them
Experience developing and executing strategic plans that align project outcomes with business objectives
Track record of leading and mentoring teams to foster collaboration and continuous improvement
Ability to independently apply software engineering principles in routine and moderately complex situations
