Job Summary
The Product Architect ISG will design and evolve customer identity and access management solutions using Ping UnboundID CIAM and Janrain CIAM for global enterprise clients in a hybrid work model. This role focuses on creating scalable secure and high performing digital identity products that align with business goals integrate with existing systems and improve customer trust and experience while meeting compliance and security standards.
Responsibilities
- Design robust CIAM solution architectures leveraging Ping UnboundID CIAM and Janrain CIAM to deliver secure and seamless customer identity experiences that align with enterprise product strategy and integration needs.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to translate digital experience requirements into practical CIAM architecture blueprints and implementation roadmaps that support long term platform evolution.
- Define end to end user journeys for registration authentication consent and profile management using Ping UnboundID CIAM and Janrain CIAM to optimize usability security and scalability for high volume environments.
- Evaluate current identity platforms and related applications to identify modernization opportunities and propose migration approaches that reduce technical debt and enhance performance and reliability.
- Create detailed solution design documents covering data models integration patterns security controls and operational considerations to guide development and configuration activities across hybrid work setups.
- Partner with security and compliance stakeholders to embed privacy by design principles into CIAM solutions ensuring alignment with regional regulations and internal risk management standards.
- Provide technical guidance during development and configuration of Ping UnboundID CIAM and Janrain CIAM features including access policies directory structures and customer data lifecycle management.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure CIAM solutions are deployed with appropriate scalability observability and resilience including backup strategies and incident response readiness.
- Review implementation deliverables and conduct architecture assessments to maintain conformance with agreed patterns performance benchmarks and integration constraints across dependent systems.
- Analyze production metrics such as latency error rates and sign in completion to recommend targeted improvements that enhance customer experience and reduce operational incidents.
- Support hybrid work collaboration by documenting architecture decisions and maintaining clear communication channels so distributed teams can implement CIAM capabilities consistently and efficiently.
- Engage with business stakeholders to explain CIAM capabilities and constraints in accessible terms demonstrating how secure identity products contribute to trusted customer relationships and sustainable business growth.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing on CIAM best practices and product architecture patterns helping the organization build repeatable approaches that accelerate delivery and improve quality of digital services.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong expertise in Ping UnboundID CIAM including design configuration and optimization of customer identity flows across complex enterprise environments.
- Apply solid hands on experience with Janrain CIAM to architect registration authentication and consent management scenarios that support omnichannel customer interactions.
- Bring exposure to check processing or related financial services domains to design CIAM solutions that respect transaction workflows risk controls and regulatory expectations.
- Utilize at least eight years of overall experience in architecture or senior engineering roles to handle end to end solution ownership in large scale information services contexts.
- Exhibit advanced skills in API based integrations data modeling and directory services to connect CIAM platforms with core applications marketing systems and analytics tools.
- Use problem solving and analytical abilities to assess trade offs among security usability performance and maintainability while making architecture recommendations.
- Operate effectively in a hybrid work model by using documentation collaboration tools and structured communication to keep cross functional teams aligned on CIAM product goals.
