What you will do during your internship with us
Assist in gathering and documenting business, data, analytics, and AI requirements from internal teams and client stakeholders.
Support data collection, cleansing, validation, exploratory data analysis, and feature preparation to enable high-quality analytics and ML solutions.
Help build reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
Participate in client meetings and workshops to understand business challenges, identify analytics and AI opportunities, and contribute to solution design.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for business improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including consultants, business analysts, data engineers, data scientists, AI/ML engineers, and developers.
Support proof-of-concept development for AI/ML and Generative AI use cases using structured and unstructured data.
Assist in testing LLM-based solutions, including prompt design, response evaluation, grounding, accuracy, and responsible AI considerations.
Explore agentic AI workflows where AI agents use tools, data, and defined guardrails to complete multi-step business tasks.
Document findings, assumptions, model or prompt results, and recommendations in a clear, business-friendly format.
What we would like to see from you
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong interest in consulting, advanced analytics, AI/ML, Generative AI, and solving real-world business problem
Basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SQL, Python, Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau is an advantage.
Awareness of core AI/ML concepts such as supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and responsible use of data.
Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, or embeddings is a plus.
Interest in agentic AI concepts, including AI agents, tool use, workflow orchestration, human-in-the-loop controls, and multi-step problem solving.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain analytical findings clearly.
Analytical mindset, curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.
Start Date
This is an unpaid internship lasting approximately 3 months, starting in mid-September 2026.
New interns will be aligned to the Cognizant office in Stockholm, Sweden, where they will work alongside experienced Cognizant associates delivering data, analytics, and AI-enabled technology solutions. The role combines on-site and hybrid working.
