The Role
We are looking for a Payroll system owner for our Payroll system HR Plus 8 to come and join our HR applications team. If you are passionate about working with payroll systems and have a good technical understanding, then this role might be for you! You will take system ownership and manage the payroll application and the related processes.

We are a delivery center, providing a range of services to our clients from several locations. Key delivery domains include Human Capital Management, Finance & Accounting and IT Support – with a focus on day-to-day delivery as well as driving several innovation agendas. You will be part of an amazing delivery team and collaborate across our locations.

Take system ownership of the payroll application, HR plus 8, which includes

  • Responsibility for system upgrades and release management incl. testing

  • Business analyst for the payroll application

  • Securing data flows between related HR and other applications

  • Development of the system

  • Management of basic data set and change

  • Point of contact for the integration specialists’ team

  • Ownership for the system set-up of the payroll application

Take ownership and lead the processes

  • System upgrades

  • Year end, prepare the payroll system for a new year

  • Vacation year turn

Project work

  • Represent the payroll application in various projects

Change management

  • Translate requirement into a payroll application set-up

  • Lead the CR from initiation to completion, e.g., design, build, configure, test and release

Client

  • Client point of contact in HR applications queries and requests trough ServiceNow

Key role success factors

  • Technical

  • Have a system architectural perspective and strong technical understanding of payroll systems and HR systems, preferred HR plus 8

  • Experience with tools and techniques such as Excel, XML and perhaps SQL

  • From an overview perspective understand the system map and the integration data flows

  • Strong problem-solving skills from a technical perspective

  • Structured

  • Process-oriented mindset with strong analytical and technical ability

  • Ability to see the bigger picture and dependencies

  • AI interest and/or understanding

  • Fluent in Swedish and English

General

  • Great understanding of collective agreements and ability to translate the requirements into a system set-up

  • Strong sense and ability to prioritize work according to urgency and importance

  • A bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent working experience

  • Customer-oriented approach
