Job Summary

As a Sr. Developer you will play a crucial role in designing developing and implementing data solutions that drive business insights and decision-making. With a focus on Data Warehousing ETL and Data Integration you will ensure data accuracy and accessibility. Your expertise in PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage will be pivotal in optimizing data processes and enhancing system performance.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust data solutions that align with business objectives and enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design data models that support business needs.
  • Utilize your expertise in Data Warehousing Concepts to optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
  • Apply Scheduling Basics to ensure timely execution of data processes and workflows.
  • Lead ETL processes to transform and load data efficiently ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Integrate data from various sources using advanced Data Integration techniques to provide comprehensive insights.
  • Utilize PL/SQL to write efficient queries and scripts that enhance data manipulation and reporting capabilities.
  • Implement IBM Infosphere Datastage solutions to streamline data processing and improve system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to maintain system reliability and user satisfaction.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Monitor and optimize data processes to ensure scalability and efficiency in handling large datasets.
  • Document data solutions and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future enhancements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions and methodologies.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Data Warehousing Concepts to design and implement effective data storage solutions.
  • Possess strong skills in Scheduling Basics to manage and optimize data workflows.
  • Exhibit expertise in ETL processes to transform and load data efficiently.
  • Showcase advanced Data Integration skills to combine data from multiple sources seamlessly.
  • Have a solid understanding of PL/SQL for writing efficient queries and scripts.
  • Be experienced in IBM Infosphere Datastage to enhance data processing capabilities.
  • Hold a degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • Have 8 to 12 years of experience in data development and integration roles.
  • Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.


Certifications Required

IBM Certified Solution Developer - InfoSphere DataStage v11.3
