AI-Native Engineering Solutions Sales Specialist

As a AI-Native Engineering Solutions Sales Specialist you will make an impact by accelerating growth across our Software Engineering Group (SEG) portfolio and helping clients unlock measurable business value through AI-powered transformation. You will be a valued member of the Software Engineering Group (SEG) team and work collaboratively with account, solution, and delivery teams, and clients.
In this role, you will
· Drive revenue growth and market expansion by identifying, qualifying, and shaping strategic opportunities across Cognizant's Software Engineering Group portfolio including Agentic SDLC, Context Engineering, AI-enabled modernization, AI Assurance, and Resilient IT Operations.
· Act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, Chief Digital Officers, VPs, engineering leaders, and business executives by leading executive briefings, discovery sessions, innovation workshops, and AI transformation discussions.
· Lead consultative and value-based solution sales efforts by developing compelling business cases, differentiated value propositions, and outcome-driven strategies that align client objectives with Cognizant capabilities.
· Partner with Client Partners, Account Executives, Solutions, Delivery leaders, and technology alliances to build pipeline, increase wallet share, and accelerate sales cycles across existing and new opportunities.
· Position AI-native engineering solutions including AI-assisted software development, Agentic AI, Context Engineering, Knowledge Grounding, AI-led modernization, and intelligent automation to address client business challenges.
Work model

What you must have to be considered
· Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Technology, Solution sales, Business development, client advisory with direct involvement in AI-related initiatives.
· Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience with Artificial Intelligence technologies, including Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.
· Proven experience in consultative selling, opportunity shaping, value proposition development, and driving technology-led transformation discussions with senior stakeholders.
· Strong understanding of AI-native engineering concepts including AI-assisted software development, Context Engineering, AI-led modernization, AI Assurance, and intelligent software delivery practices, with experience using modern AI-enabled developer platforms and engineering tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Devin/Cognition.
· AI and Cloud certifications.
These will help you succeed
· Experience supporting AI transformation initiatives within large enterprise environments.
· Exposure to AI-native software engineering practices, digital engineering, application modernization, cloud transformation, quality engineering, and software delivery organizations.
· Experience collaborating with technology alliance partners and hyperscaler ecosystems.
· Participation in industry forums, executive workshops, innovation programs, or thought leadership initiatives focused on AI and digital transformation.

Salary and Other Compensation
We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between CAD $150,000.00 – 165,000.00 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
