About the role
We are seeking a hands‑on Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) expert to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of real‑time, personalized customer journeys. In this client‑facing role, you will act as a subject matter expert across AEP and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), collaborate with technical teams to deliver scalable Experience Cloud solutions, and help drive best practices in journey orchestration and platform governance. This is a fully remote role open to qualified candidates across the United States.
In this role, you will:
· Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for AJO and AEP capabilities, and support upskilling efforts across the team
· Work in a client facing roles and lead the architecture and design of Adobe Experience cloud implementations.
· Understand various integration patterns between Adobe experience cloud tools and provide solution to the requirements.
· Collaborate and lead technical resources to define technical architecture and solution development.
· Contribute to platform governance, best practices, and continuous improvement in journey orchestration
· Deliver real-time, personalized member journeys/campaigns that enhance engagement and satisfaction

What you need to have to be considered
· Hands‑on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), including one or more core modules such as RTCDP, CJA, AJO, and Data Distiller, along with a solid understanding of the integrated Adobe Experience Cloud architecture.
· Working knowledge of implementing and enhancing AEP solutions based on technical design specifications, including AEP APIs and deployment processes
· Strong understanding of customer journey logic, event triggers, decision orchestration, personalization, and identity management, including Identity Graph, Real‑Time Customer Profile, Segmentation Service, Query Service, and Data Science Workspace.
· Experience working with customer and digital marketing data, segmentation strategies, and various measurements, analysis, and marketing technology platforms.
· Solid understanding of web technologies and website behavior to drive customer acquisition, loyalty, and key business metrics.
· Excellent client management and communication skills, including strong written and verbal communication, executive presence, and the ability to clearly explain complex marketing and technical solutions.
· Proven ability to work in multi‑vendor and on‑off delivery models, demonstrate strong team collaboration, and provide alternative solutions when facing complex technical or functional challenges.

The annual salary range for this position is between $110.000 – $130.500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
