About the role
We are seeking a Senior Technology Architect to design and govern complex Oracle Cloud ERP solutions across Finance and Supply Chain domains. This role will define end-to-end technical architecture, drive integration strategy using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and related technologies, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise standards.
In this role you will
- Define and own end-to-end technical architecture for Oracle Cloud ERP including integrations, extensions, data migration, and infrastructure
- Design and document Technical Architecture Documents (TADs), integration blueprints, and security architecture aligned with Oracle best practices
- Establish and govern the RICEW framework (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) across all technical deliverables
- Lead design decisions on build vs configure vs extend to maximize standard functionality and reduce customization risks
- Define technical standards, coding guidelines, naming conventions, and architecture patterns
- Design and implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, HDL, and ADFdi
- Oversee the full integration lifecycle including design, development, testing (unit, SIT, performance), and deployment
- Review and approve integration designs, code artifacts, and testing deliverables
- Provide hands-on leadership in developing complex OIC integrations
- Architect Oracle Cloud extensions using ADF BC, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, OTBI, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
- Design workflows and approval mechanisms using Oracle BPM, AME, and Fusion Workflow
- Define and lead data migration strategy including tooling (FBDI, ADFdi, Informatica, Talend) and governance
- Establish frameworks for data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation across financial and master data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support delivery and ensure performance, scalability, and compliance
Work Model: Remote with Milestone travel to Halifax, CA
What you need to have to be considered
- 10+ years of IT/ERP consulting or architecture experience with at least 5 years in Oracle Cloud ERP technical delivery
- Experience delivering at least 3 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud ERP implementations
- Expert-level experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) including design, adapters, error handling, and monitoring
- Strong development expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle ADF, Oracle JET, VBCS, REST/SOAP services, XML/JSON
- Hands-on experience with FBDI, OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Financial Reporting Studio (FRS)
- Experience migrating from legacy ERP systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Lawson) to Oracle Cloud
- Strong understanding of ERP integrations, reporting, and data management strategies
- Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

- Experience in Oracle Cloud ERP technical architecture and governance
- Strong background in data migration and ETL architecture
- Knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and compliance frameworks
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Oracle Cloud
- Expertise in performance engineering, tuning, and optimization
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $89,550–$120,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
