About the role
As a .NET/Blazor Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting business-critical Clinical Services applications and provider data integration solutions. You will be a valued member of the application development team and work collaboratively with business analysts, product owners, subject matter experts, and quality assurance teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
In this role, you will:
· Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and Syncfusion controls.
· Build reusable user interface components, RESTful APIs, backend services, automated workflows, and integrations with internal and external systems.
· Develop and enhance clinical provider data processes, including data validation, transformation, mapping, loading, and integration across multiple systems.
· Create and optimize SQL Server database objects, application components, queries, and data-processing solutions to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
· Deliver high-quality solutions through technical design, unit and integration testing, peer code reviews, CI/CD practices, defect resolution, documentation, and participation in Agile ceremonies.

What you need to have to be considered
· Experience developing web applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, and Blazor.
· Experience creating RESTful APIs, backend services, reusable UI components, business workflows, and system integrations.
· Strong SQL Server development skills, including tables, stored procedures, views, functions, query optimization, and data-processing components.
· Experience translating business and functional requirements into scalable technical designs and implementation solutions.
· Knowledge of software development best practices, including automated testing, code reviews, application security, authentication, authorization, data protection, and CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
This will help you stand out
· Experience developing applications using Blazor and Syncfusion controls.
· Experience with clinical, healthcare, or provider data applications and integration processes.
· Knowledge of healthcare privacy, security, and organizational compliance standards.
· Experience preparing technical design documents, solution approaches, implementation specifications, and architecture recommendations.
· Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborating with product owners, business analysts, subject matter experts, and quality assurance teams.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $63,000 to $99,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
