Sr. MDM Administrator
Job Summary
The IT Systems Administrator III is responsible for supporting enterprise operational automation and Master Data Management (MDM) platform administration across multiple environments. This role combines hands-on automation execution using ServiceNow Runbook Automation and Ansible Automation Platform with day-to-day operational support of the enterprise MDM ecosystem.
The position supports Development, Test, Certification, Production, and Disaster Recovery environments and plays a critical role in platform stability, scheduled maintenance, patching, and incident response for data-centric enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Runbook Automation & Operational Execution
· Support and maintain automated runbooks used for enterprise operational activities across Dev, Test, Certification, Production, and DR environments.
· Validate runbooks prior to execution to ensure readiness, accuracy, and compliance with operational standards.
· Monitor runbook executions in real time and ensure successful completion, remediation of failures, and proper task closure.
· Maintain execution records and operational artifacts to support audit and compliance requirements.
Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
· Execute and monitor Ansible Automation Platform job templates triggered by scheduled runbooks.
· Validate execution status via Ansible APIs, logs, and job output.
· Troubleshoot failed or degraded Ansible jobs and coordinate resolution with application, infrastructure, and platform teams.
· Support multiple job templates aligned to MDM and other enterprise application platforms across environments.
Master Data Management (MDM) Platform Administration
· Serve as an operational administrator for the enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) platform across all environments.
· Support MDM operational runbooks for activities such as:
o Application start/stop
o Environment maintenance
o Scheduled jobs and batch processing
o Platform validation and health checks
· Assist with MDM production and DR operational activities, including controlled restarts, failover support, and post-execution validation.
· Partner with MDM application teams to support platform availability, stability, and incident resolution.
· Participate in MDM patching, certification, and production deployment support activities.
Scheduling, Patching & Change Support
· Create and maintain runbook schedules aligned to enterprise patch cycles, maintenance windows, and blackout periods.
· Ensure production and DR activities are executed during approved after-hours or weekend windows.
· Support enterprise patching cycles by executing and monitoring automation tied to OS, middleware, or application updates.
· Ensure runbook executions align with approved change records and operational policies.
Incident Response & Operational Support
· Respond to runbook execution alerts, failures, and operational incidents related to MDM and enterprise data platforms.
· Provide hands-on support during scheduled maintenance, patching, and disaster recovery exercises.
· Perform post-execution verification and coordinate issue resolution with dependent teams.
· Escalate issues appropriately and provide clear operational status updates.
Collaboration & Documentation
· Collaborate with application development, data engineering, infrastructure, and OS teams.
· Communicate execution status, failures, and remediation actions through established operational channels.
· Maintain operational documentation, runbook updates, and knowledge transfer materials.
· Support onboarding and cross-training for automation and MDM operational processes.

Required Qualifications
· Experience supporting enterprise automation using Ansible Automation Platform.
· Experience administering or operationally supporting Master Data Management (MDM) platforms & Informatica Power Center.
· Strong understanding of multi-environment operations (Dev/Test/Prod/DR).
· Experience supporting production systems in regulated or high-availability environments.
· Ability to troubleshoot automation, platform, and execution failures across teams.
· Strong operational discipline and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience supporting data platforms or large-scale enterprise applications.
· Familiarity with enterprise patching cycles, blackout windows, and change management.
· Experience supporting disaster recovery testing and execution.
· Background in application or platform operations within financial services or similarly regulated industries.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is in the range of $90,000 to $130,000, depending on experience, skills, and geographic location. This role may also be eligible for performance‑based bonuses in accordance with company compensation policies.
