About the role
As an SAP Test Lead, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end testing for complex SAP FICO solutions and integrated business processes across ECC and S/4 HANA environments. You will be a valued member of the QA and SAP delivery team and work collaboratively with business SMEs, functional consultants, and global teams to ensure high-quality, reliable outcomes across enterprise systems.
In this role, you will:
· Define and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans for SAP FICO and integrated modules (P2P, OTC, PP)
· Translate business requirements into test scenarios, test cases, and end-to-end validation coverage across functional, integration, and regression testing
· Lead E2E business process testing ensuring seamless validation across SAP modules and transformation initiatives
· Manage defect lifecycle activities, including triage, retesting, and stakeholder reporting to ensure timely resolution
· Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams and stakeholders to drive test execution, reporting, and delivery milestones

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Bridgewater, New Jersey.

What you need to have to be considered
· 10+ years of experience in SAP testing, with strong expertise in SAP FICO including split billing and acquisition processes
· Hands-on experience in S/4 HANA implementations and ECC to S/4 migrations
· Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP business processes and FICO integration points across MM/P2P, SD/OTC, and PP
· 3+ years of experience as a Test Lead, driving test strategy, execution, and team coordination
· Experience in functional, system integration, and regression testing across SAP landscapes
· Proficiency with test management and automation tools (HP ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps, UFT, Tosca, Worksoft)
· Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery models
· Strong communication skills with experience engaging business stakeholders and SMEs
These will help you stand out
· SAP FICO certification
· Experience working with global delivery models and offshore coordination
· Familiarity with JQL and advanced reporting in Jira/ADO
· Proven ability to create RTMs, status reports, and test documentation
· Experience supporting large-scale SAP transformation programs
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $81,513 to $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
