Veeva Vault RIM – Validation Test Lead/Manager

As a Veeva Vault RIM – Validation Test Lead/Manager, you will be responsible for validating Veeva Vault RIM applications, ensuring compliance with CSV, GxP, and global regulatory standards. You will drive test strategy, manage testing efforts, support regulatory submission processes, validate documentation, and change control to ensure compliance and quality delivery through risk-based validation strategies.

In this role, you will

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on Veeva Vault RIM experience with configuration and support
  • Experience in Computer System Validation (CSV), including protocol development and compliance.
  • Must have strong Life Sciences industry experience.
  • Understanding of regulatory affairs and global submission standards (e.g., eCTD).
  • Familiarity with regulatory submission processes and health authority correspondence.
  • Estimate and plan testing efforts for projects and applications.
  • Develop validation and testing strategies based on system risk and complexity.
  • Oversee demand management and project planning.
  • Prioritize tasks based on business criticality and regulatory impact.
  • Author and develop validation, testing, and qualification documentation, including validation plans and summaries, test plans and summaries, qualification plans and summaries, various types of test scripts, requirements traceability matrices, and test error reports.
  • Review validation documentation and ensure the overall quality of validation deliverables.
  • Manage change control and coordinate assigned projects from initiation to closure.
  • Execute test procedures, document results, and resolve test errors with relevant teams.

Required skills

Total compensation:

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between CAD 90,000 – 110,000 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a remote position open to qualified applicants in Ontario and/or Nova Scotia, where our hubs are located.
