Job Summary
Serve as a Digital Content Specialist in a hybrid model creating localizing and managing German language content for hi tech products and services while ensuring quality cultural relevance and regulatory compliance across channels. Collaborate with cross functional teams to support digital campaigns enhance user engagement and strengthen brand presence in German speaking markets.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain high quality German digital content for hi tech products and services to support web platforms social channels and knowledge repositories
- Translate and localize English content into German with strong attention to terminology cultural nuances and audience expectations for hi tech domains
- Review and edit German content for grammar clarity and consistency to ensure alignment with corporate tone and compliance guidelines for digital assets
- Collaborate with product marketing and technical teams to understand feature updates and convert complex hi tech concepts into accessible German narratives
- Coordinate with design and user experience teams to align German content with layouts visuals and interaction flows in web and mobile experiences
- Monitor content performance metrics such as user engagement and completion rates and recommend improvements to increase relevance for German speaking audiences
- Maintain structured content libraries and metadata for German assets ensuring that content remains current discoverable and compliant with internal standards
- Follow defined workflows for content requests reviews and approvals while documenting activities to support audit readiness and operational transparency
- Support digital campaigns by preparing landing page copy email content and support documentation in German to help drive customer acquisition and retention
- Respond to feedback from stakeholders and users by updating German content quickly and accurately to improve satisfaction and reduce misunderstandings
- Utilize basic content management tools and ticketing systems to track tasks report status and ensure on time delivery in a hybrid work environment
- Adhere to day shift schedules and hybrid work practices while maintaining clear communication with distributed teams through virtual collaboration tools
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing insights on German user behavior hi tech market trends and content best practices that can shape future strategies
Qualifications
- Demonstrate native level proficiency in German with strong reading writing and speaking skills and a solid ability to understand English source content for hi tech topics
- Possess introductory knowledge of hi tech products or services such as software devices or digital platforms with the ability to learn technical concepts quickly
- Show familiarity with digital content workflows including drafting revising and publishing content using basic content management or documentation tools
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and quality orientation when reviewing German content to prevent errors and maintain a consistent brand experience
- Display effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross functional teams in a hybrid setup including remote meetings and digital channels
- Illustrate a customer focused mindset by shaping German content that anticipates user questions reduces confusion and enhances trust in hi tech solutions
- Prefer exposure to translation localization or content support roles where German language skills were applied to digital or technical content even in academic or internship settings
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications such as TestDaF or Goethe Zertifikat C1 or equivalent advanced German language certification
