Job Title: Software Developer in Test (SDET) – Mobile, Web & API Automation
Experience Level: Senior-Level
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer in Test (SDET) with expertise in automating mobile and web applications, and API testing. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring software quality by developing automation frameworks, writing robust test scripts, and performing integration testing. This role requires strong technical abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for improving software quality through automation.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile (Android) and web applications using Appium, Playwright, or similar tools.
  • Develop and execute API test automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using BitBucket, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Stay up to date with the latest automation testing trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in test automation for mobile and web applications or a software development background.
  • Experience in automation frameworks like Appium, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Hands-on experience in API automation testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
  • Strong experience with database testing or database development.
  • Experience in integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (BitBucket, GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based mobile testing platforms (Sauce Labs).
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of security testing principles.
