AIML Delivery Lead
About the role
As a Principal Product Owner – AI & Digital Health Platforms, you will make an impact by defining product strategy and leading the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale, customer-facing healthcare platforms powered by AI, machine learning, and cloud-native technologies. You will be a valued member of the Product Management team and work collaboratively with engineering, data science, clinical stakeholders, regulatory teams, UX, marketing, and executive leadership to deliver innovative digital health solutions that improve patient and clinician outcomes.
In this role, you will:
· Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for AI-enabled healthcare platforms, translating customer and business needs into measurable outcomes.
· Partner with clinicians, customers, engineers, architects, and data scientists to define product requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans across Agile and SAFe environments.
· Lead the delivery of Generative AI, LLM-powered workflows, predictive analytics, and digital health capabilities while ensuring Responsible AI governance and regulatory compliance.
· Drive platform modernization initiatives leveraging cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, FHIR/HL7 standards, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise integration patterns.
· Establish product success metrics, monitor adoption and business outcomes, and guide go-to-market activities, customer enablement, and continuous product optimization.

What you need to have to be considered
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Healthcare Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
· 12+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Digital Product Leadership delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.
· Proven experience defining and executing product strategy, multi-year roadmaps, and platform modernization initiatives for customer-facing digital products.
· Experience delivering AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM-enabled, data-driven, or intelligent automation solutions in regulated environments.
· Strong expertise with Agile and SAFe frameworks, including backlog management, sprint planning, PI planning, prioritization, and cross-functional delivery leadership.
· Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS), APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
· Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulatory requirements including FHIR, HL7, HIPAA, PHI, and healthcare interoperability frameworks.
· Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead collaboration across business, technology, compliance, UX, operations, and go-to-market teams.
· Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a demonstrated ability to drive measurable business outcomes.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until July 28, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between CAD 90,000 – CAD 135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
