Snowflake Architect
We are looking for a Snowflake Architect with strong administrative capabilities to join our team. This role combines architecture and platform administration, with responsibility for performance, scalability, security, and day-to-day reliability of the Snowflake environment. The right candidate brings experience in data architecture, cloud platforms, and Snowflake operations.
About the Team / Business Unit
We work across the full data and AI ecosystem in partnership with major cloud and software providers such as AWS, Microsoft, Google, Snowflake, and Databricks. Supported by local, nearshore, and offshore expertise, we help clients build scalable and cost-effective solutions. Our work includes AI-driven transformation across industries, from automation and compliance to smart manufacturing. In the Nordics, our focus is to help organizations strengthen digital maturity, accelerate innovation, and turn data into action through modern platforms and responsible AI.
About You
This role combines the responsibilities of a Snowflake Architect and Administrator. Because Snowflake requires less traditional platform administration, the role offers the opportunity to combine operational ownership with architectural development and grow further as an architect.
Key Responsibilities
You will manage and optimize Snowflake environments to ensure performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency. The role includes administration, access management, monitoring, incident handling, automation, and platform maintenance. You will also contribute to architecture design, create solution blueprints, guide technical teams, support governance and best practices, and work closely with developers, security teams, DevOps, and business stakeholders to align Snowflake capabilities with business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
You should have strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, including warehouses, databases, roles, and security, along with solid SQL skills and experience in performance tuning and optimization. You understand data security, compliance, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and data integration processes. Experience as a Snowflake Architect is required, and Snowflake certification such as SnowPro Core or higher is expected.
Nice to Have
Experience in data modeling, analytics reporting, performance tuning, and data migration is an advantage.
