About the Role
As a Senior .NET Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, enterprise-grade web applications using .NET/.NET Core, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure technologies. You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and technology stakeholders to deliver innovative business solutions.
In This Role, You Will:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using .NET/.NET Core and Angular.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular 13-16, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and complex queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements.
• Support CI/CD processes and Azure-based deployments.
Work Model

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days per week in a Cognizant office in Halifax, Nova Scotia. What You Need to Have to Be Considered
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in .NET/.NET Core development.
• Experience with Angular (v13-v16).
• Strong SQL Server development, database design, and performance tuning experience.
• Experience with REST APIs, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience working across the full software development lifecycle.
These Will Help You Stand Out
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with xUnit, NUnit, Jasmine, or Karma.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and release management.
• Microsoft Azure or .NET certifications.
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position depends on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
