About the role
As a Customer Service Representative, you will make an impact by delivering exceptional support to customers and stakeholders while helping ensure efficient resolution of inquiries, requests, and service-related concerns. This role requires a customer-focused professional who can effectively manage interactions, maintain service quality, and support operational objectives within a healthcare environment.
You will be a valued member of the customer support team and work closely with internal partners, providers, payers, and customers to deliver a positive service experience and support business goals.

In this role, you will:
Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and service requests.
Provide professional and timely support while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
Resolve customer concerns and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
Document customer interactions accurately and maintain detailed case records.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
Support provider and payer-related inquiries while adhering to established service standards.
Track and monitor service requests to ensure timely follow-up and completion.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.
What you need to have to be considered
1 to 3 years of experience in customer service, customer support, or a related role.
Experience working in a customer-focused environment with a strong commitment to service excellence.
Knowledge of Customer Service Management principles and best practices.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Experience supporting healthcare provider and payer-related processes is preferred.

Experience within healthcare, provider, or payer environments.
Exposure to customer service technologies and case management systems.
Understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
Experience handling high-volume customer interactions.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Work Model
This is a fully remote position. Associates will work remotely while collaborating with customers, providers, payers, and internal teams to support service operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Travel
No travel is required for this role.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $40K - $46K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
