We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, Azure Cloud, SQL Server, and Microservices Architecture. This role requires hands-on technical leadership, architectural decision-making, mentoring developers, collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
In this role, you will:
· Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable enterprise applications using ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, .NET Framework, and Angular (v13-v16).
· Architect and develop modern microservices-based solutions and RESTful APIs to support business-critical applications.
· Design and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and data models to improve application performance and reporting accuracy.
· Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
· Leverage Microsoft Azure services including App Services, Storage, Identity Management, and Security capabilities for cloud-native application deployment.
· Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, QA teams, and solution architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

What you need to have to be considered
· 10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC.
· 3+ years of experience in a technical lead or senior lead role managing development teams and technical delivery.
· Strong experience with Angular (v13-v16), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
· Hands-on experience designing and developing Microservices Architecture and RESTful APIs.
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
· Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, deployment, monitoring, and security best practices.
· Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, source control systems, and release management.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $ 81337 to $ 141500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
