Senior SAP SD Consultant – Americas Localization Support

About the role

As a Senior SAP SD Consultant – Americas Localization Support, you will make an impact by supporting and maintaining SAP ECC6 SD processes and localization solutions across the Americas region. You will collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure operational stability, compliance, and continuous improvement of critical order-to-cash and localization processes.

In this role, you will

  • Support SAP SD processes including Sales Orders, Billing, Pricing, Contracts, Warranty Management, and Master Data.
  • Provide support for localization solutions across Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia, ensuring compliance with country-specific requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve production incidents, service requests, and system issues in line with SLA commitments.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements, testing activities, deployments, reporting, and integrations.
  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes while driving root cause analysis and continuous improvements.

Work Model

Hybrid | São Paulo, Brazil

This role follows Cognizant’s hybrid work model, requiring periodic onsite collaboration in São Paulo while supporting teams and stakeholders across the Americas region.

What you need to have to be considered

  • 8+ years of SAP SD experience, including configuration and production support.
  • Strong experience supporting SAP ECC6 environments.
  • Solid knowledge of Sales Order Processing, Billing, Pricing, Contracts, Warranty Management, Output Determination, and Master Data Management.
  • Experience with localization processes in Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia.
  • Experience with incident and change management methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and SharePoint.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

These will help you stand out

  • Experience with Brazil Localization (Mastersaf, Tax One, Invoice Monitor, Tax Reform).
  • Experience with Mexico CFDI and electronic invoicing.
  • Experience with Colombia localization and export invoicing processes.
  • SAP SD Certification.
  • Knowledge of SAP MM/WM integrations, LSMW, and Serial Number Management.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Experience in AMS or Production Support engagements.
  • Portuguese and Spanish language skills.
