Key Responsibilities

This Technology Architect role focuses on designing and optimizing scalable solutions built on Restful APIs and NICE platforms including Contact Engine and Cxone for global enterprise clients in a hybrid work model. The architect will translate complex customer experience needs into robust technical architectures that improve service quality and operational efficiency. Experience in automotive industry domains is beneficial to align solutions with connected vehicle and omnichannel service journe 3.

Responsibilities:

-Design end to end technical architectures that integrate Restful APIs with NICE ContactEngine and NICE Cxone to deliver scalable and resilient customer experience solutions for enterprise environments -Define integration patterns and data flows that enable secure communication between backend systems and NICE platforms while optimizing performance latency monitoring and error handling -Develop detailed solution blueprints covering environment configuration workload sizing and capacity planning for hybrid deployments across cloud and on premise systems -Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate complex customer engagement requirements into actionable technical designs that support long term platform evolution -Guide engineering teams on best practices for Restful API design versioning authentication and observability to ensure maintainable and extensible services across multiple product lines -Review application and integration code implementations to validate alignment with architectural standards and to identify opportunities for refactoring and performance tuning -Establish governance models for configuration management of NICE ContactEngine and NICE Cxone instances ensuring consistency across environments and compliance with organizational policies -Drive solution validation through proof of concept exercises and pilot implementations to de risk large scale deployments and confirm functional and nonfunctional requirements -Create comprehensive technical documentation covering architecture decisions sequence diagrams data contracts and operational runbooks to support handover to implementation and operations teams -Coordinate with infrastructure and security specialists to ensure that Restful API gateways data stores and NICE platform components meet security regulatory and data privacy expectations -Advise support teams on incident response strategies and monitoring dashboards for NICE Cxone and ContactEngine solutions to minimize downtime and improve service reliability for end users -Align designs with automotive industry standards when applicable by incorporating connected vehicle data flows dealer networks and omnichannel customer service scenarios into solution architectures -Continuously evaluate emerging features in NICE platforms and API frameworks to recommend incremental enhancements that deliver measurable improvements in customer satisfaction and organizational efficiency -Qualifications -Bring a minimum of eight years and a maximum of twelve years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise scale architectures with a strong focus on service oriented and microservices based solutions -Demonstrate advanced expertise in Restful APIs including hands on experience with designing resource models configuring authentication and implementing robust error and version management practices -Possess substantial practical experience working with NICE ContactEngine including configuration of conversation flows system integrations and alignment with operational contact strategies -Show proven experience implementing and optimizing NICE Cxone for contact center operations including routing configurations analytics capabilities and integration with external customer data sources -Hold familiarity with automotive industry business processes such as connected services dealer management and customer aftersales journeys while understanding how technology architectures support these flows -Operate effectively in a hybrid work model with the ability to collaborate virtually and onsite during day shifts while remaining flexible in coordinating with global stakeholders across time zones -Exhibit strong communication and documentation skills to clearly articulate architectural decisions risks and tradeoffs to technical and nontechnical audiences supporting smooth project execution

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 100,000– $ 130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
