Job Summary

The Manager-Data Science role is pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making processes within the organization. With a focus on analytics analysis and design the candidate will lead a team to develop innovative solutions that enhance business performance. This hybrid position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of data science methodologies to optimize operations and contribute to the companys growth.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the data science team to develop and implement advanced analytics models that drive business insights and decision-making.
  • Oversee the design and execution of data analysis projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide strategic direction for data-driven initiatives leveraging analytics to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into business processes improving overall performance.
  • Develop and maintain data science best practices fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data analysis results implementing quality control measures to maintain high standards.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies in data science staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
  • Mentor and guide team members promoting professional development and skill enhancement in data science.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance data literacy across the organization empowering teams to utilize data effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of data science initiatives providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data science to solve complex business challenges.
  • Implement data governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy standards.
  • Advocate for data-driven decision-making demonstrating the value and impact of analytics on business outcomes.


Qualifications

  • Possess a strong background in analytics with extensive experience in designing and implementing data models.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis techniques with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights.
  • Exhibit expertise in data science methodologies including machine learning and statistical analysis.
  • Have experience in leading and managing data science teams fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Show capability in strategic thinking with the ability to align data science initiatives with business objectives.
  • Display excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hold a degree in a relevant field such as Data Science Computer Science or Statistics with advanced certifications preferred.

Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) Advanced Data Science Certification
