Job Summary
Serve as a senior consultant within a hybrid work model applying deep property and casualty insurance domain expertise to guide clients through complex business process and technology transformation initiatives while delivering measurable value ensuring regulatory alignment and improving policy billing and claims outcomes for customers and stakeholders across the insurance lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Drive discovery sessions with business stakeholders to understand property and casualty insurance objectives core processes and pain points across policy billing and claims domains and translate them into clear consulting outcomes and deliverablesDesign target state business processes for underwriting policy administration rating billing and claims in the property and casualty insurance context to improve efficiency accuracy and service qualityDevelop detailed functional specifications and user stories for property and casualty insurance systems that align with client strategy regulatory obligations and internal control expectationsGuide configuration and validation of core insurance platforms and surrounding applications to ensure that coverage structures products rating algorithms and claims workflows reflect client requirements and industry standardsConduct impact analysis and gap assessments between current and target operating models across underwriting policy servicing and claims operations to recommend pragmatic and sequenced transformation roadmapsCoordinate with technical teams to clarify business requirements validate solution approaches and support integration across policy origination data warehouses reporting solutions and downstream financial systemsPerform data validation and business rule testing across property and casualty policy premium and claims datasets to support user acceptance testing and ensure that system outputs are reliable and compliantPrepare and deliver clear consulting reports executive ready presentations and process documentation that summarize findings recommendations and measurable business benefits for property and casualty insurance clientsEnable business users through structured training sessions user guides and day in the life scenarios that demonstrate how new processes and applications support their daily work in a hybrid environmentSupport change management activities by identifying business readiness risks proposing mitigation actions and reinforcing adoption of new processes and tools across underwriting operations and claims teamsCollaborate with cross functional partners including actuary finance operations and technology to ensure that property and casualty solutions are feasible sustainable and aligned with enterprise goals and regulatory expectationsMonitor solution performance and key metrics such as quote turnaround time loss ratio drivers and claim cycle time to propose continuous improvements that enhance value for customers and the wider communityAdvise clients on market trends regulatory developments and emerging technology in property and casualty insurance to help them make informed decisions that support long term resilience and societal trust
Qualifications
Apply eight to ten years of property and casualty experience to interpret complex underwriting policy and claims scenarios and guide clients toward practical business and technology solutionsDemonstrate strong understanding of core insurance concepts including coverage structures rating reinsurance reserving drivers and regulatory reporting for property and casualty productsUse proven consulting skills such as structured problem solving hypothesis driven analysis and storytelling to frame issues explore options and recommend actionable solutions in client settingsExhibit proficiency with process modeling requirements documentation and testing practices to connect business needs with technical design and implementation outcomes in hybrid project environmentsEmploy clear and inclusive communication skills to collaborate with diverse client and internal teams spanning business operations technology finance and analytics across on site and remote settingsApply practical knowledge of commonly used property and casualty systems or platforms and related data structures to support configuration integration and validation activities without performing pure development workDemonstrate strong time management and self organization skills to plan workload meet consulting milestones and maintain quality delivery without travel while working in a hybrid work model
