About the Role
As a Facets Developer / Integration Engineer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting enterprise healthcare integrations that enable critical enrollment, claims, and health plan operations. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Technology team, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, development teams, QA teams, and client partners to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performing solutions for a leading health plan organization.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and implement custom interfaces and integrations for the TriZetto Facets platform following SDLC best practices.
- Support health plan enrollment systems and ensure the reliability and performance of critical business processes.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical design documents and implement scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with offshore development teams, QA partners, and release management teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
- Troubleshoot application issues, implement enhancements, and provide post-production support to maintain system stability.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- Hands-on experience with TriZetto Facets development, configuration, and healthcare system integrations.
- Strong development experience using .NET technologies.
- Advanced SQL skills, including database design, development, performance tuning, and query optimization.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, including scripting and system operations.
- Experience with TIDAL job scheduling and workload automation tools.
- Strong understanding of US Healthcare payer operations, including Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- Experience gathering business requirements and converting them into technical solutions and design documentation.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, deployment processes, and production support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Experience supporting large-scale health plan enrollment platforms.
- Exposure to healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with distributed and offshore development teams.
- Knowledge of interface design, system integration, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Experience participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release management activities.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $100,000 - $117,000 CAD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
