We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications.
They will work closely with developers and other stakeholders to identify, document, and troubleshoot issues. Strong analytical skills and experience with automated testing tools are essential for this role. They will also be able to collaborate with other team members, including other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software on time.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and Report Defects: Detect, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, ensuring issues are resolved before release.
• Perform Regression Testing: Conduct regular regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Automate Testing Processes: Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar, to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications in the cloud environment.
• Monitor the performance, availability, logs
• Share knowledge and know-how inside and outside the team
• Mentor less experienced team members
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in multi-tier web-based applications
• Experience of testing within Agile development at a scale. Previous work experience in multi-team environments, close collaboration with developers, project managers and clients
• Having hands on experience in test automation especialy in PlayWright framework, integration with CI/CD
• Understanding of BDD.
• Fluent communication in English
AND/OR (at least one of the below):
• Having hands on experience or a good understanding of performance, security, usability
• Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG)
• Experience with complex backend applications and enterprise system architecture
