Job Summary
Observability Delivery Manager to lead a team of Splunk Datadog and BigPanda administrators and own the delivery of enterprise monitoring and event management services. You will drive platform roadmap service quality and cost governance while ensuring reliable onboarding alerting and incident response across teams. Working closely with engineering SRE NOC and ITSM stakeholders you will turn business needs into clear delivery plans and measurable outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the Splunk Datadog and BigPanda admin teams including hiring workload planning performance reviews and skills development.
Own end to end delivery of observability services including onboarding of applications dashboards alerts and integrations.
Define and manage the observability roadmap standards and tagging and naming conventions across all three platforms.
Manage service levels KPIs and reporting such as platform availability onboarding turnaround MTTA MTTR and alert noise reduction.
Oversee BigPanda event correlation and integration with Datadog Splunk ServiceNow and PagerDuty to ensure a clean alerting flow.
Govern licensing usage and cost for Splunk ingestion Datadog hosts and logs and BigPanda driving optimization and forecasting.
Manage vendor relationships contracts renewals support escalations and product upgrades.
Run intake prioritization and sprint or Kanban planning for requests projects and enhancements.
Ensure platform security access control audit and compliance requirements are met.
Own incident problem and change management for observability platforms including post incident reviews and continuous improvement.
Drive automation and as code practices to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
Communicate status risks and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders and promote observability best practices through training and documentation.
Typical Qualifications
12 or more years in IT operations monitoring or SRE with at least 4 years in a team lead or delivery management role hands on knowledge of Splunk Datadog and BigPanda experience with ITIL and Agile delivery budget and vendor management skills and strong communication and stakeholder management.
Certifications Required
Splunk Datadog or BigPanda
