Job Summary
The Lead Developer role focuses on designing building and optimizing high quality mobile applications that support a hybrid work environment and day shift operations. The role requires six to seven years of experience in mobile development strong ownership of end to end delivery and close collaboration with cross functional teams to deliver secure scalable and user centric solutions that align with business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Drive end to end design and development of mobile applications by translating business requirements into secure scalable and maintainable solutions that operate efficiently in a hybrid work environment
- Oversee creation of modular mobile architectures that enable reuse consistent user experience and rapid feature enhancements across multiple application releases
- Provide hands on implementation of complex mobile features including state management network integration and offline capabilities to ensure responsive and reliable user journeys
- Implement rigorous coding standards code reviews and static analysis practices to maintain high code quality and reduce defects across the mobile application codebase
- Coordinate closely with product managers designers and backend engineers to refine requirements clarify acceptance criteria and deliver cohesive and consistent functionality for end users
- Optimize mobile application performance by profiling resource usage tuning rendering flows and improving startup times to deliver smooth interactions on a range of devices
- Ensure robust security and compliance controls by implementing secure storage secure communication and defensive coding practices aligned with enterprise policies and industry expectations
- Manage defect triage and production incident resolution for mobile applications by analyzing logs reproducing issues and deploying targeted fixes that minimize service disruption
- Guide continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for mobile projects by defining build test and deployment workflows that support reliable day shift releases without travel requirements
- Drive documentation of technical designs architectural decisions and operational runbooks to support knowledge sharing onboarding and sustainable maintenance of mobile applications
- Collaborate with quality assurance partners to define test strategies including unit integration and regression coverage that safeguard critical mobile user flows and improve release confidence
- Engage in stakeholder communication by presenting technical options trade offs and delivery plans that align mobile roadmap decisions with broader organizational goals and customer value
- Mentor junior and mid level developers by providing constructive feedback pairing sessions and learning opportunities that elevate the overall capability and resilience of the development team
Qualifications
- Require six to seven years of professional experience in mobile application development delivering production grade solutions for enterprise or consumer environments
- Require strong proficiency in at least one native or cross platform mobile framework along with solid understanding of application life cycle state management and navigation patterns
- Require demonstrable experience with consuming restful services handling data serialization and managing secure communication channels between mobile clients and backend systems
- Require practical experience with version control continuous integration and automated testing tools that support repeatable builds and high confidence releases
- Require familiarity with performance optimization techniques including reducing application size minimizing network calls and improving rendering efficiency on diverse devices
- Nice to have experience in integrating analytics crash reporting and feature flagging solutions to monitor application health and support data driven iteration
- Nice to have background in user centered design principles accessibility considerations and localization practices to ensure inclusive and globally ready mobile experiences
- Nice to have exposure to agile delivery practices such as iterative planning backlog refinement and review ceremonies to maintain predictable and transparent delivery cycles
