About the role
As a Plant Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will make an impact by supporting plant infrastructure environments, ensuring the stability, performance, and security of servers, virtualization platforms, monitoring solutions, and network services. You will work closely with global IT teams to maintain reliable operations that support critical manufacturing and business processes.
In this role, you will
- Support plant infrastructure environments, including servers, virtualization platforms, monitoring systems, and backup solutions.
- Perform patching, upgrades, system maintenance, and configuration activities while ensuring compliance with infrastructure standards.
- Manage and support Active Directory, DNS, Group Policies, security groups, and access management.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and Level 1 network issues, partnering with global support teams when required.
- Support plant operational continuity through incident management, system monitoring, and on-call support during production outages.
Work Model
Hybrid – São Paulo (Morumbi), Brazil
This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring periodic onsite presence at our São Paulo (Morumbi) office based on business needs.
What you need to have to be considered
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience supporting plant or manufacturing IT infrastructure environments.
- Experience with VMware/vCenter and Nutanix AHV administration.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy administration.
- Experience with monitoring platforms such as WUG and Zabbix.
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions, including BackupExec and Druva.
- Basic knowledge of Docker containers and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with infrastructure patching, performance monitoring, and incident management.
- Availability to participate in on-call support for production-critical incidents.
These will help you stand out
- Experience supporting manufacturing or OT-adjacent environments.
- Knowledge of SCCM, RealVNC, Microsoft Defender, and enterprise security tools.
- Experience with multi-domain Active Directory environments.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
