MDM Solution Architect – Informatica IDMC
About the Role
As an MDM Solution Architect – Informatica IDMC, you will make an impact by defining and delivering enterprise-grade Master Data Management solutions that drive data quality, governance, and business value across the organisation. You will be a valued member of our Data & AI practice and work collaboratively with business teams, data stewards, IT stakeholders, and development teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing MDM architectures on the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform.

In This Role, You Will:
- Design end-to-end MDM architectures leveraging Informatica IDMC, ensuring solutions are built for scalability, security, and high performance across enterprise data domains.
- Develop and implement MDM strategies and roadmaps aligned with enterprise data governance frameworks and broader business objectives.
- Lead integration design of MDM with upstream and downstream systems using IDMC services, including Data Integration (CDI), API Management (CAI), and related platform capabilities.
- Define data models, hierarchies, and governance frameworks for master data domains such as Customer, Product, and Vendor, ensuring consistency and regulatory alignment.
- Collaborate closely with business teams, data stewards, and IT stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into robust, technically sound MDM solutions.
- Implement security standards and compliance controls, including role-based access management and adherence to regulatory requirements such as GDPR.
- Provide technical leadership by mentoring development teams, conducting code and configuration reviews, and enforcing best practices across IDMC and MDM implementations.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement by staying current on Informatica IDMC platform capabilities and recommending enhancements that elevate data management maturity.
What You Need to Have to Be Considered:
- 10+ years of experience in Data Management, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Informatica MDM and 3+ years working with IDMC services including C360, B360, CDI, and CAI.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data modelling, and metadata management principles and frameworks.
- Expertise in API-based, real-time, and batch integrations using Informatica CDI and CAI.
- Proven ability to define and deliver enterprise data strategies and roadmaps in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, role-based access controls, and GDPR compliance in MDM contexts.
These Will Help You Stand Out:
- Experience with cloud platforms, with Microsoft Azure being a particular advantage.
- Track record of mentoring and upskilling technical teams within large-scale MDM or data platform programmes.
- Familiarity with Informatica platform updates and emerging IDMC capabilities, demonstrating a proactive approach to continuous learning.
