Network Voice Engineer
Location : Brampton ON ( 100% onsite )
We are looking for an experienced Network & Voice Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise networking and unified communications. The role involves managing, supporting, and troubleshooting routing, switching, SD‑WAN, and voice technologies in a large-scale enterprise environment, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Technical Skills & Responsibilities
Network (Mandatory)
- Configure, manage, and support enterprise Routers and Switches.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols, including OSPF and BGP.
- Provide operational and implementation support for Cisco SD‑WAN (Viptela / Catalyst SD‑WAN).
- Perform network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
Voice & Unified Communications
- Support and manage Cisco Unified Communications, Voice Conferencing, and Webex platforms.
- Strong understanding of Voice over IP (VoIP) principles and PBX functionalities.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Cisco Jabber
- Cisco Call Manager (CUCM)
- Cisco Unity Connection
- Dialer, ICM
- Cisco Presence
- SIP, SCCP, H.323 protocols
- Manage Corporate Telephony environments including:
- Cisco Call Manager
- Cisco Unity Voicemail
- Voice Gateways
Contact Center Technologies
- Experience working with Genesys Cloud CX and Genesys PureConnect platforms.
- Manage Genesys PureConnect components including:
- User accounts
- Roles and permissions
- Access controls
Additional Responsibilities
- Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution, upgrades, and support activities.
- Participate in incident management, problem management, and service improvement initiatives.
- Work effectively in fast‑paced operational environments with cross‑functional teams.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale network and voice infrastructures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within operations and engineering teams.
- Good communication and vendor management skills.
Compensation: We are offering an annual salary of $90,000 to 108,000
