About the Role
Serve as a Technical Lead for Pega, driving data integration and case management solutions for complex enterprise programs. With 7–10 years of experience, you will design scalable Pega architectures, mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support transformation initiatives across commercial lending and cards & payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design and delivery of Pega data integration solutions, ensuring seamless data flow between enterprise systems and Pega applications to support reliable case processing and reporting.
- Design and optimize Pega case management workflows, ensuring well-defined processes, SLA adherence, and audit-ready tracking across financial services operations.
- Partner with architects, business analysts, and QA teams to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and compliant Pega solutions.
- Develop and promote reusable Pega assets (integrations, data pages, decision rules) to drive consistency, efficiency, and accelerated delivery across programs.
Work Model
This is a hybrid role requiring 3–4 days per week onsite in a client or Cognizant office in Charlotte, NC. Cognizant supports flexible work arrangements and promotes a healthy work-life balance through dedicated wellbeing programs. Work model expectations may evolve based on business and client needs.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in enterprise application development with strong expertise in Pega, including recent experience in data integration and case management.
- Hands-on experience configuring Pega integrations (connectors, services, data pages) to enable reliable interaction with external systems, data platforms, and payment ecosystems.
- Proven ability to design complex case types, stages, and workflows, including multi-step approvals, exception handling, and SLA management.
- Experience within commercial lending and/or cards & payments domains, supporting use cases such as underwriting, credit decisioning, dispute management, or transaction servicing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or Certified System Architect (CSA).
