About the Role
The Kinaxis Principal Architect leads functional configuration and solution delivery for Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro implementations. This role serves as a key bridge between business requirements and system design, owning complex configuration and modeling while driving end-to-end delivery across planning streams.
You will partner closely with Solution Architects, Integration Leads, and client stakeholders, while mentoring junior consultants to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Lead functional configuration and data modeling across Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP, and Capacity Planning
- Design and configure Kinaxis components including workbooks, worksheets, measures, hierarchies, calendars, alerts, searches, scheduled tasks, and automation chains
- Own sprint-level delivery, including estimation, build, unit testing, and stakeholder demos
- Mentor and guide Solution Consultants on development standards, modeling practices, and implementation best practices
- Facilitate solution walkthroughs, design sessions, and client-facing demos
Work Model

Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro configuration and authoring
- Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP)
- Experience integrating Kinaxis with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, APO)
Certifications (Nice to Have)
- Kinaxis Solution Consultant – Level 2
- Kinaxis Author Certification – Level 2

Compensation & Benefits

- The annual salary for this position is between: $170,000 – $190,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
- Eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program
