About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Solution Architect responsible for leading the migration of Anaplan applications from Classic and Polaris engines. This role involves driving end-to-end solution design, resolving migration challenges, and building scalable data integration pipelines.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to identify gaps, enhance system functionality, and ensure successful delivery through UAT and go-live.
In this role you will
Translate sprint user stories into scalable Anaplan solutions and deliverables
Lead business demonstrations, capture user feedback, and implement enhancements
Design and implement data integrations using Anaplan Data Orchestrator (ADO), REST APIs, and cloud technologies
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support integration requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during Classic-to-Polaris migrations
Develop functional, technical, and SOP documentation for end users
Support UAT execution and go-live readiness activities
Work Model
We support a hybrid work model to promote flexibility and balance. This role requires 3-4 days per week onsite at a Cognizant or client location in Seattle, WA, depending on business requirements.
Work arrangements may evolve based on project and client needs; expectations will be clearly communicated.
What you will need to be considered:
Strong expertise in Anaplan model design and development, with deep understanding of PLAN standards to ensure optimal performance
Proven experience in Classic to Polaris migration, including issue identification and resolution
Solid knowledge of ICM (Incentive Compensation Management) and FP&A planning processes
Experience managing Anaplan roles, access, and security models
Hands-on experience with Anaplan workflows and ADO capabilities
Ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
Anaplan Solution Architect Certification

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $130,000 – $150,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
Eligibility for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program
