About the Role
As an Empower QA Analyst, you will ensure the quality, accuracy, and compliance of mortgage origination platforms including Empower LOS and a proprietary Loan Officer Digital system. You will work closely with business and delivery teams to validate workflows and support high-quality releases.
In this Role, You Will
· Review requirements and build detailed manual test cases and scripts.
· Execute functional and end-to-end testing across Empower LOS and Loan Officer Digital platform.
· Validate mortgage workflows and business scenarios.
· Identify, document, and track defects and anomalies.
· Validate regulatory workflows including TRID compliance.
· Proactively identify functional and regulatory gaps.
· Collaborate with business, QA, and release teams during testing cycles.
Work Model
This role is based in Teaneck, NJ with a remote work setup. Candidates are expected to support collaboration as needed while primarily working remotely.
What You Must Have to Be Considered
· 2–8 years of experience in QA or manual testing within financial services or mortgage domain.
· Strong experience in test case creation and execution.
· Understanding of mortgage lending workflows.
· Basic knowledge of regulatory practices such as TRID.
· Strong analytical and documentation skills.
These Will Help You Succeed
· Working knowledge of Empower Loan Origination System.
· Experience with end-to-end mortgage platform testing.
· Familiarity with Agile testing environments.
· Strong attention to detail and stakeholder communication skills.
Compensation (Pay Transparency)
Base salary range $86,500 – $101,500 annually, depending on experience, skills, and location. Eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program subject to applicable plan terms.
