About the role
As a Test Lead, you will make an impact by driving quality assurance across UI/UX, mobile, and cross-platform applications through both manual and automated testing practices. You will be a valued member of the QA & Testing team and work collaboratively with your QA Manager, cross-functional Agile teams, and UX researchers and designers.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and execute UI/UX, manual, and automated testing across Android, iOS, and Windows platforms to ensure high-quality, user-centred product delivery
- Collaborate closely with UX researchers and designers to develop and continuously improve user-focused test scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Own and manage test cases, defect tracking, and sprint activities using Azure DevOps (ADO) within an Agile delivery model
- Drive robustness and performance testing initiatives, including the application of JMeter for load and performance validation
- Champion adaptability across evolving technology stacks, providing guidance and quality oversight to the broader Agile team
Work model:

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client office in Adelaide, SA. What you need to have to be considered:
- Proven experience in UI/UX-based testing with a strong understanding of user-centred quality principles
- Hands-on experience testing manual and automated applications across Android, iOS, and Windows mobile platforms
- Demonstrated experience working within Agile delivery models as part of a cross-functional team
- Exposure to performance testing tools, specifically JMeter, and robustness testing methodologies
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing test cases, defects, and sprint activities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
These will help you stand out:
- Hands-on experience with C#, Appium, and NUnit for test automation
- Exposure to UX design frameworks and methodologies, with the ability to partner effectively with UX researchers and designers
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly across varied and emerging technologies
