Role Overview
The Front Line Sales Operations role within the RCGTH Business Unit acts as a trusted business advisor to the BU leader and BU sales team, owning the full scope of sales operations – including reporting, pipeline hygiene, forecasting, account coverage and tagging, and sales insights and analytics. Working closely with sales teams, , and internal cross-functional partners, this role translates data into sharp insights and solid recommendations that can change the trajectory of the business, while ensuring smooth order-to-delivery flow, sound governance, and consistent execution of go-to-market plans. The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of experience in sales operations or a related field within the retail and consumer industry, along with strong analytical, coordination, and stakeholder management skills, and a solid grasp of sales compensation and TCV (Total Contract Value) validation policies and governance.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as a trusted business advisor to the BU leader and sales team on all sales operations matters, bringing sharp insights and solid recommendations that can influence and change the trajectory of the business.
• Own end-to-end sales operations reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance for BU leadership.
• Drive pipeline hygiene across the sales funnel, ensuring data accuracy, and timely updates.
• Lead forecasting processes in partnership with sales leadership, providing reliable projections and flagging risks and opportunities early.
• Manage account coverage and tagging to ensure accurate territory mapping, segmentation, and resource alignment across the BU.
• Deliver sales insights and analytics that surface trends, gaps, and opportunities, translating data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Maintain strong working knowledge of sales compensation policies and TCV validation governance.
• Own and maintain sales operations dashboards, and reporting tools to provide visibility into sales trends and gaps.
• Drive AI initiatives and adoption to improve productivity
• Prepare business review decks and performance summaries for leadership and BU reviews.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Experience in sales operations, sales support, finance, or commercial operations, preferably within retail, or consumer goods.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, and Salesforce tools.
• Demonstrated experience working with senior leaders and sales teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hybrid working environment.
• High attention to detail with a process-improvement mindset.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across hybrid team setups.
