We are seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Operator Supervisor (AVOS Team Lead) to oversee day-to-day field operations and support the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of autonomous vehicle services. This role is responsible for coordinating daily operational activities, supporting field teams, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with operational procedures, and maintaining a strong focus on safety and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Provide guidance and support to field staff to ensure high standards of operational performance, customer service, and safety.

Manage operator check-in processes, including schedule readiness, completion of daily checklists, and daily task assignments.

Monitor operational performance and coordinate schedule adjustments to support service efficiency.

Ensure adherence to established procedures, operational guidelines, and safety requirements.

Identify and address safety concerns, escalating issues and implementing corrective actions as appropriate.

Coordinate and monitor break schedules to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and operational needs.

Support dispatch operations, including coordination of accessibility-related service requests.

Assist with onboarding, training, coaching, and performance discussions.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners on routine operational matters.

Support site operations under the direction of the General Manager and Operations leadership team.

Participate in performance management and employee relations processes as required.

Maintain accurate operational records and reports.

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience in a supervisory, team lead, or operational coordination role.

Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Flexibility to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operational setting.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in transportation, mobility services, logistics, fleet operations, or a related field.

Knowledge of operational compliance and workplace safety practices.

Experience supporting training, coaching, and team development initiatives.

Familiarity with technology-enabled operations or autonomous vehicle services is an advantage.
