About the role
As a TIBCO Architect, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable middleware solutions using TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Administrator, and Java to support critical Payer domain business processes. You will be a valued member of the enterprise integration team and work collaboratively with cross-functional technology, business, and architecture stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions that align with organizational goals and industry standards.
In this role, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain robust middleware solutions using TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Administrator, and Java to support Payer domain applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze system needs, and ensure seamless system integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring optimal system performance, reliability, and minimal downtime.
Optimize existing systems and processes by applying industry best practices, improving scalability, efficiency, and maintainability.
Provide technical leadership through code reviews, adherence to coding standards, documentation, and mentorship of junior developers.
What you need to have to be considered
6+ years of hands-on experience with TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Administrator, and Java in middleware development.
Strong expertise in the Payer domain, including healthcare systems, workflows, and regulatory considerations.
Proven ability to design and implement scalable, high-performance middleware solutions.
Excellent problem-solving skills with experience resolving complex production issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in a hybrid and cross-functional environment.
These will help you stand out
TIBCO Certified Professional certification.
Java SE 8 Programmer Certification.
Experience conducting formal code reviews and enforcing coding standards.
Proven experience mentoring junior developers and supporting team skill development.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current with middleware and healthcare technology trends.
Work model: Remote from the United States

Salary and Other Compensation:
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans
