Guidewire Business Analyst – ClaimCenter
About the role
As a Guidewire Business Analyst – ClaimCenter, you will make an impact by driving strategic insurance transformation initiatives and delivering business capabilities across claims management processes. You will be a valued member of the insurance transformation team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, quality assurance teams, claims operations partners, and business leaders to design and deliver Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and objectives.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, and solution reviews.
- Support and analyze end-to-end claims management processes, including First Notice of Loss (FNOL), Coverage Validation, Exposures & Reserves, Payments & Recoveries, Subrogation, Litigation Management, and Fraud Investigations.
- Define, validate, and optimize claims business rules, workflows, and operational processes while supporting Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations, enhancements, integrations, and modernization programs.

What you need to have to be considered
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting Guidewire InsuranceSuite projects, with a strong focus on Guidewire ClaimCenter.
- Deep knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance products, claims operations, and claims lifecycle processes.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Strong understanding of claims management processes, including FNOL, Coverage Validation, Exposures & Reserves, Payments & Recoveries, Subrogation, Litigation Management, and Fraud Investigations.
- Experience defining business rules, workflows, and process improvements within claims operations.
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, architects, and QA teams in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Guidewire ClaimCenter ACE Certification (latest Cloud release).
These will help you stand out
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification.
- Experience supporting Guidewire Cloud transformations and modernization programs.
- Knowledge of Guidewire integrations and digital insurance platforms.
- Experience working closely with claims operations, adjusters, and business leadership teams.
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions that drive business value and operational efficiency.

Salary and Other Compensation
Applications will be accepted until August 8, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $115,000 CAD, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
