Technical Integration Consultant- Banking Domain
About the role
As a Technical Integration Consultant you will make an impact by designing and implementing large-scale enterprise solutions, defining solution and integration architectures, and aligning technology strategies with business goals. You will be a valued member of our ISG Practice, working closely with product teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to deliver innovative, secure, and scalable solutions.
In this role, you will:
· Design, implement, and lead enterprise architecture for large-scale projects.
· Define solution and integration architectures for product integration with surrounding systems.
· Architect and develop optimized microservices and REST APIs for real-time business operations.
· Lead migration from monolithic applications to microservices to improve maintainability and accelerate release cycles.
· Implement load balancing, failover mechanisms, caching, and message-driven design patterns.
· Ensure enterprise security and compliance through logging, auditing, and API monitoring frameworks.
· Leverage AI tools for automation, modeling, analysis, and code generation.
· Manage customer expectations and ensure proposed solutions align with business goals.
· Mentor developers and tech leads to transition into architecture roles.
· Lead and manage a team of 10+ members to deliver technology-specific solutions and build solution assets within Cognizant.
Work model
Onsite – This role requires presence at the client or Cognizant office. We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible and support a healthy work-life balance through various wellbeing programs.
What you need to have to be considered
· 15+ years of experience in enterprise and solution architecture for large projects.
· Strong expertise in integration patterns, microservices architecture, and cloud-native deployments.
· Knowledge in one major language ecosystem (Java, Python, .NET, JavaScript).
· Expertise in modern patterns: microservices, event-driven, API-first, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
· Deep knowledge of multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), serverless programming, Infrastructure as Code.
· Proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and application modernization.
· Knowledge in message-oriented middleware (JMS, ActiveMQ, IBM MQ).
· Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
· Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
These will help you stand out
· Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure).
· TOGAF 9 certification.
· Expertise in enterprise security (OAuth, SAML/SSO).
· Knowledge of performance engineering.
· Experience in banking transformation engagements (Mortgage, Retail, Corporate, Private Banking).
· Knowledge of Dutch language.
