Low-Code Engineer (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights)
Position: Low-Code Engineer Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights
Project
Implementation, Migration, Licensing and Support of the System leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, Dataverse, Power Platform, and Power Pages to support engagement, communications, events management, digital alumni cards, reporting, and system integrations.
Role Summary
The Low-Code Engineer Consultant will be responsible for configuring, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting the RP Alumni System using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights and Microsoft Power Platform.
The consultant will work under the guidance of the Project Manager and Solution Architect to implement business requirements, develop low-code solutions, perform system integrations, support data migration activities, and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Configuration
- Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights modules.
- Configure Dataverse entities, forms, views, and dashboards.
- Configure business rules and workflows.
- Implement user roles and security settings.
- Support system setup and environment configuration activities.
Power Platform Development
Develop and maintain solutions using:
- Microsoft Dataverse
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Power Pages
- Power BI
Responsibilities include:
- Developing low-code applications.
- Configuring automated workflows.
- Building dashboards and reports.
- Supporting portal development activities.
- Assisting in application deployment and release management.
Customer Insights Configuration
- Configure customer segments and audiences.
- Support setup of engagement journeys and campaigns.
- Configure communication tracking and reporting.
- Assist in implementing marketing automation processes.
- Support campaign testing and deployment activities.
Integration Development
- Develop and support integrations with:
- Student Systems
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Email services
- Reporting platforms
- Configure API connections and data synchronization processes.
- Assist in interface testing and troubleshooting.
Data Migration Support
- Execute data migration activities.
- Perform data import and export tasks.
- Support data validation and reconciliation.
- Assist in resolving migration issues.
- Verify data completeness and integrity after migration.
Testing & Deployment
- Perform unit testing and support system integration testing.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Fix configuration and development defects.
- Participate in deployment and go-live activities.
- Support post-implementation stabilization activities.
Documentation & Support
- Prepare technical documentation.
- Maintain configuration and deployment documentation.
- Develop user and administrator guides.
- Support knowledge transfer sessions.
- Provide technical support during implementation and warranty periods.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Microsoft certifications are preferred:
- Microsoft Power Platform App Maker Associate
- Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform development.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Dynamics 365 projects.
- Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Pages.
- Experience in application testing and deployment.
- Experience in system integration and data migration projects is advantageous.
