Key Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery priorities for plant and equipment systems, aligned with enterprise transformation objectives and operational needs.
- Act as Product Owner for Agile delivery teams, managing backlog, defining user stories, and ensuring acceptance criteria reflect business, technical, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with plant operations, compliance, finance, procurement, and site teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable product capabilities.
- Drive solution design and enhancement across core domains, including:
- Plant rental lifecycle management: request, approval, allocation, dispatch, return, and chargeback.
- Asset register and utilization tracking.
- Preventive maintenance, inspections, and audit workflows.
- Compliance documentation management, including certificates, permits, inspection records, and audit trails.
- Scheduling and allocation optimization to improve internal asset usage.
- Work within the JD Edwards ecosystem, coordinating with ERP stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions align with existing enterprise data structures, processes, and integration standards.
- Collaborate with technology teams on integration with JD Edwards modules and related systems such as document management, reporting platforms, and potentially IoT/telematics solutions.
- Define and monitor KPIs such as utilization rates, downtime, asset availability, compliance completion, and external rental spend.
- Support data-driven decision-making through dashboards, reports, and operational analytics for business and leadership stakeholders.
- Lead UAT, stakeholder readiness, release coordination, and post-implementation adoption activities.
- Ensure solutions are delivered in line with enterprise governance, security, and architecture standards.
Key Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, business systems, or enterprise application delivery.
- Strong experience working across business and technology teams in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience in construction, engineering, logistics, or other asset-intensive industries preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP-enabled business processes; JD Edwards experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, maintenance workflows, scheduling, and compliance processes.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders at different levels, including operational leaders and technical teams.
- Experience with Agile delivery methods and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to define business metrics and translate operational needs into product outcomes.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, particularly Equipment/Plant Maintenance, Fixed Assets, or Capital Asset Management.
- Exposure to plant tracking, telematics, or enterprise document control solutions.
- Experience with workflow automation, reporting, and enterprise integrations.
- Familiarity with construction compliance and audit processes.
