As a Senior Software Engineer – JavaScript, you will design, develop, and maintain complex, high-quality software solutions using modern JavaScript technologies. You will work in a cross-functional team delivering scalable, production-grade applications. The role requires deep expertise in JavaScript, advanced rendering models, asynchronous communication patterns, and conflict resolution in distributed systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex front-end and full-stack JavaScript applications.

  • Implement performant UI solutions using Virtual DOM-based frameworks.
  • Contribute to technical and architectural decisions.
  • Write reusable, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Perform code reviews and mentor engineers
  • Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Promote engineering best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
  • Extensive expertise in JavaScript (language internals, event loop, async execution, performance)
  • Strong understanding of Virtual DOM concepts, reconciliation, diffing, and render optimization.
  • Deep knowledge of asynchronous messaging concepts, including event-driven systems, retries, idempotency, and eventual consistency
  • Good understanding of conflict resolution algorithms such as optimistic concurrency control and versioning strategies
  • Strong experience with React or equivalent frameworks
  • Extensive experience with TypeScript
  • Strong experience with state management (Redux / Redux Saga or equivalent)
  • Good knowledge of component-based architecture and UI performance optimization
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and browser APIs
  • Good experience with Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of clean code, design principles, and testing.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Good English communication skills, including client-facing contexts

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with micro-frontend architectures (Module Federation or similar).
  • Experience designing scalable front-end architectures.
  • Backend experience using Java and Spring / Spring Boot.
  • Experience with REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
  • Cloud experience (Azure preferred).
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL).
  • Exposure to monitoring, profiling, and observability tools.
  • Technical leadership or mentoring experience.

The salary range for this position is from 4.485 to 5.950 Euro gross before taxes.*

*Salary offer for the candidate is determined based on the predefined salary ranges for the position and depends on the level of competence and experience of the candidate.
