About the role
As an QA Automation Architect, you will make an impact by shaping enterprise‑scale automation and GenAI‑powered testing solutions across the software development lifecycle. You will be a valued member of the delivery and engineering teams, collaborating closely with cross‑functional leaders, architects, and key stakeholders to define and implement strategic automation capabilities.
In this role, you will:
• Build and validate automation solutions across the STLC, including UI/API automation using GenAI‑assisted coding.
• Design and enhance solutions for test data mining and intelligent test generation.
• Participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of automation frameworks, pipelines, and prompt engineering models.
• Contribute to cross‑functional automation initiatives and Proofs of Concept across the software lifecycle.
• Define the Automation & GenAI adoption roadmap aligned with client goals and transformation priorities.
• Evaluate build‑versus‑buy decisions and recommend suitable vendors, platforms, and technologies.
• Advocate for responsible automation practices, governance standards, and model management frameworks.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and provide governance across automation programs.
• Mentor teams on automation engineering and GenAI best practices.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in automation and GenAI, continuously identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
Work model: Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week onsite in Charlotte, NC. What you need to have to be considered
• 15+ years of testing experience with strong expertise in UI/API test automation frameworks and engineering.
• Proven experience working directly with CIO‑level leaders.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to architect enterprise automation solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Demonstrated leadership in automation transformation initiatives.
• Experience guiding teams in GenAI‑driven engineering and automation practices.
• Ability to drive innovation and experimentation in automation frameworks and AI‑enhanced test strategies.
