About the Role
As an Infrastructure Developer Specialist, you will make an impact by designing, deploying, and maintaining robust, containerized infrastructure solutions that drive operational excellence across our technology landscape. You will be a valued member of our IT Infrastructure team in Brussels and work collaboratively with cross-functional squads, DevOps engineers, and platform architects to continuously improve system reliability, scalability, and automation.
In this role, you will:
- Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker, Red Hat OpenShift, and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and resilience across environments.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps, leveraging Ansible and Git for automated infrastructure provisioning and code management.
- Drive monitoring and alerting improvements using tools such as Prometheus, Kibana, and Grafana, contributing to proactive incident detection and performance optimization.
- Manage Incident, Change, and Configuration Management processes in alignment with ITIL best practices, ensuring stable and compliant infrastructure operations.
- Collaborate in an Agile (Scrum) environment, actively participating in ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- Strong knowledge of API concepts and modern integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience with containerized applications including Docker, Red Hat OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
- Solid working knowledge of the Azure DevOps platform, including pipelines, Ansible, and Git version control — this is essential.
- Practical experience in Incident Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management following ITIL frameworks.
- Good understanding of Java and Spring Framework concepts for application-level troubleshooting and collaboration with development teams.
These Will Help You Stand Out
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting for automation and system administration tasks.
- Background in Life Cycle Management, Risk Management, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in monitoring and alerting automation using Prometheus, Kibana, and/or Grafana.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum ways of working and active participation in ceremonies such as stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
